Peachy Keen Color Challenge 19

After being MIA for awhile, a birthday party for my friend finally got me crafting again. I knew I had to get a Peachy face on her birthday card somehow, so I decided to go with a "Birthday Queen" theme so that I could use my Once Upon a Princess cricut cartridge. I LOVE the colors that were part of the color challenge, so I tried to incorporate as many as I could.

Materials Used:

  • Peachy Keen Princess Faces 1 1/8
  • Once Upon a Princess cricut cartridge
  • tsuneko inks (the words did not cut super cleanly, so I ended up doing some "sponge-like" action with my inks).
  • buttons (from Wal Mart's craft section)
I wish you all a safe and happy Memorial day, tomorrow! God Bless America! :)

Christmas In April

Hi All,

Hope this week is treating you well! I am back to the grind (Spring Break was SO nice), so time is limited for crafting again. :( I was thankfully able to finish a project that I had started awhile ago when I had the idea of starting a mini album compiling our Christmas photo greeting and the Christmas letters that my husband writes to family and friends. I didn't have time to photograph the inside of the album but will try to do that later. I had previously made the shell of the album with the background paper, but I decorated the front cover for this week's Peachy Keen Challenge: Anything Goes!

Materials used:
Sizzix Mini Album (The outsides of the album are made w/ a thin chipboard w/ patterned paper glued on both sides of the chip board. Had to use two mini albums one on top of the other in order for our Costco Christmas Greeting to fit!)
Big Binder Rings (found these at the Scrapbook Expo in Anaheim this year)
Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge
Buttons
faux stitching
the mini crystals for the snow
sticker letters
Peachy Keen faces! Love that I got to use the Critter faces!

Thanks for visiting! I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

  • Cricut Paper Doll Dress up (bride and groom)
  • Patter paper is "Recollections" paper
  • pearl trim ribbon and pearl stick-ons
  • black ribbon
  • Scrappy Moms Sentiment

Hi Everyone,

TGIF! Started my Friday night with Olive Garden and a glass of wine and ended it with this cheerful taste of spring. I thought the food and wine from OG were satisfying UNTIL I made this card. LOL. The Peachy Keen Face on the little chick and sun just make the whole card I think.

  • Plantin Schoolbook (grass)
  • Simply Charmed (chick)
  • Feelin' Groovy (flowers)
  • Sun (Accent Essentials)
Peachy Keen 754 Critter Faces SET A Medium
Pin Wheel (Martha Stewart Scoreboard)
